The UST Playful Learning Lab is excited to announce that, thanks to the generosity of the Best Buy Foundation, we will be running two code and music programs for young women between the ages of 13-18!
As part of the Code+Chords project, we invite you to come learn and create with us as we explore the connections between music and technology. As part of this program you will explore a variety of music and engineering technologies, and work with the UST Code+Chords team to develop your own music tech creations!
WHAT: Over the course of five meetings you will learn how to use electrical circuits and computer code to create, and respond to, music. No prior experience needed! Every participant will build their own instruments and create their own interactive software.
TIME: Saturdays from 10:30am-1:30 pm (lunch will be provided)
WHERE: The University of St. Thomas STELAR labs in the O'Shaughnessey Frey Library
DATES:
- Session A: Saturdays February 4, February 11, February 18, February 25, and March 4
